Justin Bibb serves as Special Assistant for Education and Economic Development for Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald. In this role he is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance education reform and economic competitiveness for Ohio’s largest county. Previously, Justin was Director of the Civic Health Index at the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC), a national initiative engaging policymakers, businesses, foundations, and concerned citizens in developing civic engagement strategies. Prior to joining NcoC, Justin served as Associate Partner and Director of Community Strategies with Gallup, where he spearheaded many of Gallup’s efforts to advance the social and economic well-being of communities in the areas of education and economic development. Specifically, Justin led the national business and mobilization strategy for the Gallup Student Poll, an initiative measuring the hope, engagement, and well-being of American students. Additionally, Justin also worked to establish the nation’s first ever Youth-Financial Literacy Index in conjunction with Operation HOPE. Justin has been a speaker at the Aspen Ideas Festival, U.N. Habitat, and the World Bank. Currently, he serves on the Board of Trustees at Cuyahoga Community College. He is also a Board Member at StreetWise Partners and serves on the National Advisory Board for YPNation. Justin received his bachelor’s degree in urban studies from American University in Washington, D.C. He has studied urban development and economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and was a Public Policy & Law Fellow at the University of California-Berkeley.
