James D'Angelo works for Resolute Consulting, a Chicago-based public affairs and political consulting firm. He advises on a number of federal and local issues, including healthcare, national defense, technology & innovation, economics, and energy. Focusing both on research and coalition building, D'Angelo has consistently been able to leverage unique opportunities in order to positively affect political discourse.
Prior to joining Resolute, D'Angelo studied at Northwestern University, graduating with a B.S. in economics and communications. At Northwestern, he was involved with a number of student groups focusing on public policy, both managing a campus newspaper and hosting a political commentary radio show. D'Angelo also founded a chapter of, and went on to become regional director for, Students for Saving Social Security (S4), where he worked on social security reform at the grassroots level.
D'Angelo served in the field on Judy Baar Topinka’s gubernatorial campaign and Mark Kirk’s congressional campaign and interned at the National Association of Charter School Authorizers.
Beyond politics, D'Angelo has a true passion for community service. At Northwestern, he ran a community service organization and sat on the board of Northwestern Special Olympics.
