Cleveland is a city starving for the young and creative class to stick around or come back, and the city’s Baby Boomers have been doing what they can to make it happen.
Take our downtown, for example. A decade ago, there were almost no residential living options. Our leaders began to target the young up and comers and soon dormant buildings were brought back to life as condos and loft apartments. Today, occupancy rates are estimated at about 95 percent, and the city has been flooded with young professionals.
